What I Can Provide

Swift / Objective-C / iOS App Programming

I have over 8 years of experience with the Cocoa Touch Frameworks programming iPhone/iPad Apps, a further 3 years of (non-programming) development experience in the Games industry, and have written a lot of my own custom components for various projects.  I understand the art side of development as well and have often served as a bridge between designers and developers.

I am familiar with many iOS SDK frameworks, as well as other open-source frameworks.  It is best to just contact me regarding my experience level with specific frameworks and whether I would be the best person for the job or not.

Have a look at my github repository for examples of some of the components I’ve made, or look for blog posts with code tag.

Human Resources Consulting

Perhaps you are looking to hire an iOS developer full-time but don’t know how to tell if the candidate is any good. You could hire me to conduct technical interviews and recommend to you who out of your candidates may be best suited for your project, and why.

App Design / Conceptualization / Usability

Often clients have an idea of what they want, but don’t know exactly what they want.  I work with clients to develop their ideas further, and provide advice on matters of usability and development costs (seeking tradeoffs where necessary).

Teaching / Mentoring

People tell me I have a good ability of taking a difficult concept and making it understandable for the layman.  I enjoy teaching others how to do things.

Other Miscellaneous Skills

I used to be a jack of all trades, so I still have an ability to “just get things done” and “figuring things out”.

How I Can Provide It

Please do not hesitate to get in touch with me should you require my services and we can work out something mutually beneficial.
